We have a unique opportunity for an Assistant Operations Manager, Fabricator with experience in sales, operations and fabrication of stone, for this growing family business.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, presentable and adaptable individual, who has the passion and skills for developing strong customer relationships, achieving high sales growth and possess a willingness to learn and grow within our business.
The ideal applicant will have:
Previous experience within the landscaping &/or stone industry.
The ability to be adaptable, work within a team, show initiative and take on a variety of tasks.
Be reliable, highly organised, have the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
Experience in quoting & estimating, customer service and sales.
Excellent presentation, communication & negotiation skills.
A positive, friendly and helpful attitude with a high customer focus and willingness to ‘go the extra mile’.
Current manual drivers licence & forklift experience.
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
Visiting clientele on site, representing our company.
Quoting, invoicing and producing purchase orders.
Targeting New business and winning it.
Organising freight and packaging for Australia wide deliveries.
Operating machinery and forklift.
Assisting with handling and fabrication of stone.
Warehouse management and Stock control.
Supporting the director and other team members with various tasks as required.
Social Media content preparation.
General office/showroom duties.
