Retail Sales, High End Jewellers
Our client are a family owned wholesale jewellers, selling direct to the public.
We are searching for a staff member that is as hard working and will enjoy working in a close knit family environment. The business has two aspects, one sales and the second accounts.
The right candidate will need to have knowledge in the sales department- selling the product over the phone, emails and mostly frontal sales. This is not a role for a pushy sales person and preference is to sell to customers with giving them the knowledge in the field to make an educated decision. Therefore the right candidate will have a lot of diamond information to learn firsthand in order to be able to relay that knowledge to the customer.
The second aspect is the accounts department. When there are no customers to be seen, there are bills to pay, accounts to manage and emails to answer. That is just as important as selling the goods. The right candidate will need to have basic to intermediate knowledge of accounts (e.g.-bank statements, bank transfers, up to date with bill payments etc.). There is also maintaining the website and stock lists.
Training is provided, but prior knowledge is a must. Up keeping of the office- making sure it’s neat and tidy and there are plenty of supplies available is important too

~ People person.
~ High standard of grooming and presentation
~ Able to speak and sell to customers in person and over the phone.
~ Sales experience
Secure office, as customers are by appointment only.
