An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior staff member to join as an Auditor in this Audit, Assurance and Tax Team.
We are looking for a well trained auditor with strong experience managing medium sized jobs, great communication skills, and an exceptional work ethic. Our team is growing and is now looking to increase our services to clients, you will take on challenging work, support the Partner and manage your own client engagements, and mentor junior staff.
Ideally, you are wanting to be exposed to more technical issues and access to an interesting and complex client base and are either:
- An experienced Intermediate Auditor wanting the next step up; OR
- A Senior Auditor looking to reinforce your skills and work towards a manager position.

You can demonstrate:
- Exposure and experience with Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and reporting responsibilities and the ability to clearly explain requirements
- Exceptional research skills including being able to draft written advice to clients.
- Proactive, positive and continuous improvement of processes and output approach desirable;
- Strong audit technical knowledge;
- Are abreast of technical issues such as changes to legislation and/or its application, changes in reporting requirements, etc
- Strong IT Skills (Caseware Agile Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, XERO, MYOB);
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
- Exceptional numeracy and literacy skills;
- Solid understanding of business and commercial acumen;
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to dealing with issues;
- Good attention to detail and self-review of work;
- Well developed time management and organisational skills;
- A desire to enhance Client Relationship Skills.
- Strong problem solving, communication and analytical thinking skills.
- CA ANZ/CPA qualifications – or working towards them.
- A strong work ethic and enjoy working hard as part of a great team.
