Reporting to the General Manager, working Monday to Friday, we are looking for self-motivated, reliable, punctual Leading Hand.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
- Supervision of a small crew of labourers and/or concreters
- Safe operation of power and hand tools
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Other tasks as directed
Skills and Experience
- Previous concreting experience in the construction industry
- Previous experience and comfortable understanding plans
- Previous experience working with power and hand tools
- Competent with completing basic to intermediate math equations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Previous experience as a leading hand concreter
- Adept with iPad/iPhone &pc skills
