We are now seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer, who will be responsible for improving product quality through managing product inspections and monitoring warranty cases.
Main responibilities will include;
•Maintain QC documentation.
•Manage the inspections of manufactured goods at several offsite locations.
•Develop and maintain a matrix of inspections/reporting based on risk levels.
•Assess completed product inspections prior to release/shipping of product.
•Perform product inspections for landed products.
•Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem solving.
•Monitor warranty cases for any potential quality issues.
•Develop continuous improvement solutions for existing ranges and review and recognise repeatable quality issues for improvement.
•Assess and manage the performance of 3rd party quality inspection providers.
•Monitor cost and effectiveness of quality inspection process.
•Monitor the cost of warranty cases.
•Assist the business in addressing product related non-compliance reports.
•Identify process workflows and gaps.
•You will be proficient with the entire suite of office products.
•You will be capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
•You will be highly competent in measurement methods.
•You will be proficient in using NetSuite ERP to gain information about components, suppliers and purchase orders.
•You will be required to utilise modern communication methods and modes of communication including mobile phones, video conferencing, wechat, skype etc.
