
The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and establishing new accounts and for driving sales growth and achieving incremental sales performance for the company. The Sales Engineer will visit potential customers, understand and establish their system projects’ requirements/expectations and recommend solutions on how the company’s products meet their requirements. This will involve providing pre-sales technical product education, presentations and advice to potential customers on the integration of the company’s products into their projects.
Primary Responsibilities as Sales Engineer include:
- To increase sales
- Leading the sales team in managing existing customers to retain their current business as well as expansion of sales by achieving design-in of new products
- Driving the lead generation engine
- Research the available market to identify new potential customers
- Acquisition of new customers
- Architecting the integration of systems and/or sub-systems for securing large scale projects with existing and new customers:
- Actively driving and managing the sales process
- Planning and implementation of short/medium/long term strategies in line with current and planned capabilities / technologies
- Providing drive and direction to the technical teams in regard to requirements capture, and meeting customers’ requirements

Essential:
- Technically competent
- Minimum of 4 years sales experience
