We are seeking a Dealership Accountant to oversee the financial operations across 3 dealerships. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-today accounting functions
- Prepare monthly management reports, P&L’s, and forecasts
- Monitor cashflow, budgets and conduct variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations
- Maintain accurate vehicle stock control and floorplan reporting
- Lead end-of-month processes, reconciliations, and financial close
- Liaise with external auditors and internal teams as needed
- Oversee procurement and supplier agreements
- Manage payroll and oversee HR compliance
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with department heads to optimise financial performance
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar financial accounting role
- CPA or CA qualification preferred
- Experience with DMS or within the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
