
This field service technician role is diverse and hands-on. You will be required to travel to customer sites to maintain, service, and install lifting and transfer equipment. This includes not only servicing installed systems but also delivering, installing, and collecting hire equipment for short- and long-term use.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on patient lifting systems
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical or electrical faults
- Installing equipment in residential and commercial settings
- Delivering, setting up, and collecting hire equipment for clients
- Completing service reports and compliance documentation
- Liaising with clients including aged care staff, hospital teams, disability support providers, and families
- Providing professional and respectful service, especially in sensitive environments
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in a field service or technical support role
- Mechanical or electrical aptitude
- A current driver’s licence
- Empathy and people skills
- Strong communication skills with clear spoken English essential.
