
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all commercial, operational, and team-based functions. This role ensures that sales, business development, administration, production, and marketing teams work cohesively to deliver high-quality tax depreciation products, achieve KPIs, and meet revenue and service targets.
The role is heavily focused on performance management, workflow efficiency, cross-team alignment, and leadership to drive growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Performance
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams including Sales, BDM, Administration, Production, and Marketing.
- Set, monitor, and drive the achievement of team KPIs across productivity, revenue, quality, customer satisfaction, and turnaround times.
- Conduct regular performance meetings, coaching sessions, and KPI reviews.
- Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
Operations & Workflow Management
- Oversee the end-to-end process for schedule delivery—from lead generation to final report production.
- Ensure smooth workflow between teams, resolving bottlenecks and enhancing efficiency.
- Maintain and refine Standard Operating Procedures to improve consistency and quality.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines and service commitments are consistently met.
Commercial & Sales Oversight
- Collaborate with Sales and BDM teams to meet revenue targets and improve conversion rates.
- Work with Marketing to support campaign planning, lead generation, and brand visibility.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share and expand client relationships.
- Analyse performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
Client Service & Quality Control
- Ensure high-quality customer service across all touchpoints.
- Oversee client escalations and provide high-level resolutions.
- Implement quality assurance processes for reports and internal outputs.
People & Culture
- Promote a positive, high-performance environment across all departments.
- Support recruitment, training, onboarding, and professional development.
- Encourage collaboration and alignment between departments to improve productivity and morale.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- 5–10 years of management experience in a commercial or operations-focused role.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., sales, admin, production, marketing).
- Strong KPI-driven mindset with proven ability to improve performance and achieve targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in depreciation, property services, accounting, or related sectors.
- Knowledge of asset depreciation, reporting standards, or tax legislation.
- Background working in a KPI- and revenue-driven organisation.
