We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Coordinator to join an Operations team.
About the role:
- Ensure daily factory operations run smoothly through efficient machine servicing and repairs.
- Support optimum production capacity and productivity while maintaining safety and efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning:
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
- Prioritise and track tasks, ensuring on-time completion
- Supervise contractors to ensure alignment with schedules and quality standards.
- Safety & Quality:
- Promote safety consciousness and maintain a healthy working environment.
- Adhere to occupational health and safety policies to maintain zero tolerance of harm
- Operational Support:
- Provide technical and service assistance to the team.
- Ensure effective communication with management on maintenance status and schedules.
- Oversee training for maintenance fitters and apprentices.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant Australian Trade Qualifications or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong communication, coordination, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in maintenance, safety standards, and production systems.
- Ability to plan ahead with a focus on preventative maintenance.
