The Role
This role requires a hands-on person who is proactive, thrives in a team environment and can add value amongst Transport operations.
- Support the transport team across all shifts to ensure smooth day to day operations.
- Coordinate and schedule the dispatch for both local and interstate freight, optimising fleet utilisation and meeting delivery timeframes.
- Work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership to proactively resolve issues.
Skills and experience
- Transport Operations experience preferred but not necessary.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work within effectively with teams.
- Excellent communication at all levels.
- Ability to identify & solve problems or issues within the workspace.
- Excellent time management skills.
