
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative and Customer Services Support preson with reposnibility to drive sales growth by implementing strategic plans, managing client relationships, and contributing to the company’s overall commercial success, and providing customer service through support tasks, for an international company involved with fastenings.
Sales:
- Achieve the Volume (PCS); Value (AMT) and Gross Profit (GP) plans for the designated area aligned to the company plan.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy and operational program for the designated markets, to sustain and expand sales.
- Ensure the development and implementation of a sustainable, differentiated and relevant product mix to meet and customer’s current and future requirements, together with appropriate pricing for the Segment.
- Gain insights into market trends and competitive activity and formulate and implement counter measures against it.
Customer Management and Service:
- Maintain the allocated customer base to ensure efficiency and maximum sales.
- Engage with potential and current customers by completing outbound or receiving inbound calls and visits.
- Assist all customers with product and service information requirements.
- Communicate the status and estimated delivery date to the customer.
- Assist customers on collection and delivery of their order, when needed.
- Maintain customer information and price on the Wings system.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service via phone, email, and face-to-face
- Advise customers on product availability, suitability, colour ranges, pricing, and delivery schedules, in consultation with the purchasing, production, warehouse and business development teams.
- Issue sales notes, invoices, and related documentation, in line with the company’s standard procedures.
- Understanding of logistics and associated costs.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate with a Tertiary Qualification.
- Full Unrestricted driver’s license – Class C
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a business-to-business sales or client facing role.
Knowledge Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and an ERP system.
- Aptitude to comprehend technical information on products.
- Ability to deliver value through product insight, knowledge and recommend solutions or alternatives.
