
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and confident Business Development Manager from the packaging and/or associated industries. This fast-paced, field-based role has you representing the company face-to-face, expanding a customer base, strengthening existing relationships, and developing new market opportunities to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively visit prospective customers to drive and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key existing accounts, including regular face-to-face meetings
- Re-engage dormant or lost accounts to identify and convert win-back opportunities
- Conduct targeted cold calls and site visits alongside scheduled customer appointments
- Leverage personal, industry, and networking connections to uncover and generate new sales leads
- Communicate clearly and provide consistent feedback to the management and internal sales teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience and sales results within the packaging or related industry
- Preference for someone who has strong and current relationships within the packaging or related industries that could bring opportunities rapidly
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently including managing your own follow ups in a time efficient and professional manner.
- Strong level of professionalism and ability to exude confidence to the market to ensure customer satisfaction
- Strong knowledge of the packaging and relevant industries and not afraid to investigate new opportunities in any market
