
The purpose of the role of Business Services Manager is to manage and co-ordinate the Business Services Team and deliver accounting services to your allocated Business Services clients.
Core to the position are the following tools.
– Workflow and Billing Spreadsheet
– Xero Practice Manager
– Xero Tax
– FYI Docs
– Microsoft SharePoint
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- The direct reporting function for team accounts is to their team Manager/Senior Manager. This reporting deals with Client related matters.
- Weekly workflow Meeting held each Monday and conducted under the standard Agenda.
- Daily liaising to ensure that there are no issues that could prevent the accountant from undertaking their role.
- Client Meetings (Exit Meetings, Tax Planning Meeting, and other agreed meetings regarding consulting activities).
- Phone calls regarding on-going advice and compliance queries.
- Emails largely relating to administration of the client compliance and some written advice.
About You
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in accounting
- High level of Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, and Budget Management skills
- Experience in preparing and analysing financial statements
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- CPA or CA certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
