We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock management, smooth dispatch processes, and maintaining a safe and organised working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate inventory management and stock control
- Picking and packing orders efficiently and accurately
- Loading vans for deliveries and dispatch
- Conducting occasional deliveries as required
- Receiving stock, checking quantities, and reporting discrepancies
- Entering stock received from suppliers into our business system (Tencia)
- General warehouse maintenance, organisation, and cleanliness
- Opening and locking up the warehouse when required
- Booking courier orders and managing daily dispatch
- Ensuring correct FIFO stock rotation procedures are followed
- Adhering to WHS guidelines and safe warehouse practices
Requirements
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory role (preferred)
- Ability to lift and move stock safely
- Basic computer skills and confidence using business software
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work autonomously
