
The Operations Supervisor is a critical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end execution and performance of production, warehouse, and dispatch operations within a production and distribution environment.
The Operations Supervisor is expected to lead from the front, take ownership of outcomes, and ensure systems, people, and processes are performing as required at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production Accountability
- Take full responsibility for daily production performance, ensuring output targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met without exception.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, staffing levels, and stock availability.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and quality risks and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and layout to maximise efficiency and safety.
- Ensure all customer orders are dispatched accurately, in full, and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate, real-time stock control across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Enforce strict FIFO stock rotation and best-practice inventory management at all times.
- Manage ordering of consumables, packaging, and operational supplies to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure all operational transactions are completed accurately in Tencia (Arrow system).
- Maintain clear, timely communication with internal stakeholders regarding production status, order fulfilment, and stock risks.
- Perform required administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in an operations, warehouse, or production supervisory role with direct accountability for outcomes.
- Forklift Licence (mandatory).
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in picking, packing, dispatch, and warehouse operations.
- Strong working knowledge of stock control, FIFO, and ordering processes.
- Experience using ERP or inventory systems; Tencia (Arrow system) strongly preferred.
- Functional proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and time-management skills.

- 5 days per week
- Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
