
As Parts & Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing historical parts usage, forecasting future requirements and identifying opportunities for lower-cost, technically suitable supply options.
This will include developing direct and international supply channels, and planning consolidated or bulk shipments against forecast demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse parts usage and purchasing data to identify cost-saving and margin-improvement opportunities.
- Forecast future parts requirements across service agreements, customer equipment and the rental fleet.
- Develop and manage local and international suppliers, including OEM, aftermarket and alternative sourcing channels.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, freight and supply arrangements to improve total landed cost.
- Create and maintain accurate part numbers, supplier records, cross-references and equipment parts lists within ERP (Syrinx by POR).
- Develop improved purchasing, inventory, supply-chain and warehousing strategies to support business growth.
About You
You are likely to have experience in spare parts, technical purchasing, procurement, inventory or supply chain within an industrial or construction equipment environment.:
- Strong parts identification and technical interpretation skills.
- Experience working with OEM, aftermarket and industrial suppliers.
- Sound commercial judgement, negotiation skills and confidence analysing purchasing and inventory data.
- Strong ERP and Excel capability, with a disciplined approach to parts and supplier data.
- A practical, persistent and solutions-focused approach to both strategic projects and urgent sourcing requirements.
