
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead a Service Centre and deliver outstanding support to customers. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Service Centre Operations
- Manage the day-to-day running of the service centre
- Schedule and oversee repairs, servicing, and maintenance of equipment
- Diagnose and coordinate repairs for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine issues
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and support service technicians and apprentices
- Plan and coordinate team workloads
- Monitor work quality and team performance
- Recruit and onboard new team members
Business & Performance
- Manage budgets and track service centre performance
- Drive service revenue and control costs
What we’re looking for
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Well-organised with good time management
- Experience working with mechanical equipment (e.g. turf, construction, tractors, or similar)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic tools
- Comfortable using computers and systems
Additional requirements
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to travel when required
