We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sheetmetal Worker / Welder to join a busy production team. You will be responsible for fabrication and assembly tasks that contribute to our diverse range of vehicle bodies, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication & Welding: Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including zinc, steel, and aluminium.
- Machine Operation: Confidently operate folding and guillotine machinery for precision sheetmetal work.
- Project Work: Contribute to the manufacturing of custom truck bodies, specialised vehicles, and accessories like toolboxes and storage solutions.
- Workshop Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and perform general maintenance of all tooling and your work area.
- Collaboration: Work effectively both independently and as a valued member of the workshop team.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in sheetmetal fabrication and welding (MIG/TIG).
- Competency in operating folding and guillotine machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or instructions.
- A strong commitment to safety and workshop best practices.
- Reliability: Confidence to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
